This year marked a period of steady, meaningful growth for Austockphoto, driven by increased demand for authentic Australian imagery and the strength of our artist community. We expanded our library, refined our systems and invested behind the scenes to better support the photographers who make this collection what it is. Thank you for being part of it, we're so excited for what's ahead in 2026.

Working in partnership with Woolworths, we began planning and production for NZStockphoto, completing nine shoots in Auckland. This collection will launch in early 2026 with approximately 4,000 images.

This year we undertook several high-value shoots addressing key content needs, including seniors, sport, disability, medical, families, and Christmas.

Our photographer community and customer base continued to grow.


This year we also:

  • Farewelled Cathy after ten years of service and welcomed Bec and Robyn to the accounts team.
  • Created a dedicated Shoots Management role, now expertly handled by the ever-organised Ange, along with a new Artist Support position led by our in-house stock photography expert, Gillian.
  • Updated the website with a refreshed homepage and new customer-friendly features, including Image Boards for saving favourites.
  • Scheduled further website upgrades, including functionality to track and withhold commissions for selected professionals who will be briefed and paid upfront.
  • Started early planning for a First Nations project in 2026 — watch this space!
